DFW does not allow any subleasing on ANY hunts. Violators will be asked to leave with NO refund or turned over to the proper authorities for theft and breach of contract unless hunter has written consent from DFW Hunting.

Dove Hunts 2022 - DOVE HUNTS CANCELED FOR 2022 DUE TO THE DROUGHT - NO GRAIN or SUNFLOWERS THEN NO FOOD PLOTS. PREPAID HUNTERS WILL RECEIVE FULL REIMBURSEMENT.
Numerous ranches and NO overcrowding. Plenty of room and if it gets close then we shut down reservations. Safety is our priority.
We have been organizing bird hunts for over 50 years. There is more to preparing dove fields than most folks realize. Some land owners just take your money, open the gate and say “There it is” & good luck finding a spot to hunt. DFWhunting.com DOES NOT operate in that manner. NUMBER 1 - We ONLY allow X number of hunters on our properties for safety reasons and once the number is reached then the CLOSED sign is ON. NO EXCEPTIONS
We also plant milo & sunflower seed in the spring on some properties, we normally have volunteer sunflowers if weather allows and also dove weed grows on most of our hunt areas. We mow & bale some of the sunflower/milo/johnson grass fields  which gives strips for birds to feed, it also shatters the seed heads for bird to feed. We also mow some areas so it makes bird retrieving easy for the hunter & dogs. The hay bales can be used by the  hunters for cover &/or shade. The fields are mostly surrounded with trees and there is water available on all the ranches we manage.
We can't guarantee that Gods migratory birds will be there the day you come hunt BUT it is not from lack of preparation and effort on our part.

HOG HUNTS - Due to corn & fuel prices we regret price increases but when corn has gone from $6 per bag to $14 since Biden was elected then we have no choice. The new prices go into effect 3/8/23 but if you already have reservations you would be exempt.

There are many ways to hunt feral hogs but it is like fishing - everybody has a different way to do it. Most hunters get on the computer and google different aspects of hunting feral hogs and read about them because hogs are woods savy and can smell and hear very well.

All our feeders go off twice daily (unless a malfunction)  to distribute corn and we have solar powered, motion activated, LED hog lights on all feeders on hog hunting property to help you spot the hogs.

One of the most important factors to a successful hunt is your ability to shoot and your hunting skills. Start preparing for your hunt well in advance by sighting in your rifle carefully. You should also scout your hunt as far in advance as possible. Study your trail cam pictures and look at dates and times, showing any type of pattern you can use to your advantage. Check tracks, trails, scrapes, etc. that might give you more information. Use your predator hunting skills at ALL times. Make sure to get to your hunting location and make sure you are in position way before the animal normally comes into your area. Let the wind be your friend and your patients be your driving force. When all these factors are combined, things can seem ‘easy’ and you will have success no matter how your hunt pans out.

If that particular animal that you were wanting does not come into view on your specific day then remember it is called HUNTING for a reason. The challenge is the hunt and a harvest is just an added bonus.

DOG  EXERCISE at Veal Station – You can bring your dogs out and work them on our property. Rates start at $75 per person (2 man minimum) per ½ day. 

RESIDUAL QUAIL  HUNT at Balsora – $150 PER GUN (minimum 2 gun)   This hunt  includes hunting access for residual birds from previous release bird hunts and native birds  (in season). These hunts begin at  8:30AM  or 1:30 PM.

HUNTER RELEASE HUNT – USE YOUR DOGS – Minimum 3 man hunt - $10 per bird – minimum 30 birds – Land lease $125 per hunter - YOU release the birds.

GUIDED / RELEASE HUNTS - (NOT AVAILABLE 2022-23 SEASON) Each hunter is guaranteed 15 quail released per hunt. Hunters are furnished a professional guide with trained dogs to guide the hunt.

 Fees - $500  PER GUN  (minimum 3) for a HALF DAY HUNT.

DFW Hunting hunts are located in the HEART of North Texas flyway zone. We have 6 nice sized ponds on the ranch (640 acre)  in Wise county near Lake Bridgeport.

Deposit & Payments & Rebooking Fees:

DFW Hunting & Outdoor Events asks for a 50% deposit to reserve your hunt, service or purchase depending on which ranch you hunt. We apologize for our deposit program  but due to the inability of some  prior customers not contacting DFW when there was a delayed or canceled event,  we must implement this payment.  Payments can be paid by cash, cashiers check, money order, credit card or debit card. Those that want to pay cash for deposit can bring the cash to us or purchase a card at WalMart or other outlets, activate it and call us with information.

To prevent identity theft we DO NOT ask you to put personal information on the computer but you can if you prefer to pay that way. You call DFW Hunting & Outdoor Events at 817-925-8305 and we will take your debit or credit card number. Once the credit card application has approved your card you will receive a receipt via text or email and your card information will be destroyed or specify you prefer online payment using SQUARE.  Make sure you check your booking receipt dates against your itinerary as soon as you reserve your stay to make sure all dates coincide between leasor/hunter and leasee. You must pay the remainder of the total (Balance) with CASH prior to your hunt. All additional payments with a credit or debit card after the initial reservation payment will be subject to an additional 5% usage fee.

Deposits & payments are non-refundable &/or non-transferable, unless hunter can be replaced at full price with DFW Hunting & Outdoor Events  consent. It is not DFW Hunting & Outdoor Events  obligation to replace hunter if cancellation takes place. Cancellation can result in credit towards rebooking within one year of the date of cancellation if approved by DFW Hunting & Outdoor Events.  IF APPROVED THE EXCUSED CANCELLATION  PRIOR TO THE SCHEDULED HUNT WILL BE CHARGED A 25% LABOR & CARD FEE BEFORE REIMBURSEMENT OF THE REMAINING 75% OF THE DEPOSIT PAID DOWN FOR THE HUNT SO PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU CAN HUNT THE DAY YOU REQUEST BECAUSE THAT IS THE DAY WE BLOCK JUST FOR YOU.

NO  EXCEPTIONS: ALL DFW Hunting & Outdoor Events  hunters and guest MUST have an appointment before entering ANY DFW Hunting & Outdoor Events LLC ranch. This will prevent hunters from unintentionally walking into the line of fire, interrupting others while hunting and keeps unannounced hunters from being charged with trespassing. Some DFW Hunting & Outdoor Events  management properties have some VERY protective owners and if you are not expected then the results could be unpleasant.

If any damages OR clean up fees surpass $50.00 additional charges will be applied to the credit card on file and written documentation will be sent to the guest (s) of record. If damages are determined to be caused by willful misconduct, the proper authorities will be contacted for further action if needed and ALL expenses including court cost and lawyers fees will be the liability of the person that initially booked the event. ALL ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE MUST BE REPORTED TO DFW HUNTING OFFICE BEFORE GUEST(S) DEPARTURE TO QUALIFY FOR PROTECTION.The initial lease fee DOES NOT cover additional clean up, garbage left behind (including casings, hulls, targets, bottles, etc. in or outside blinds) or failure to comply with the check out instructions.

Guest hereby agrees and acknowledges that the Guest shall NOT be entitled to a refund in the event guest departs before the end of the reservation or in the event guest arrives late or does not arrive for the reservation. Guest further hereby agrees and acknowledges that there will be no refund nor relocation in the event guest is disappointed with the property for various reasons. Furthermore, guest shall not be entitled to a refund in the event guest is required to vacate the property due to a violation of local, state or federal law or the policies of DFW Hunting. Guest shall be solely responsible for any property damage, accident or injury to any person or loss sustained by any person, including loss of money, jewelry, guns, ammo and other items of personal property, arising out of or in any way related to Guest’s use of the rental property. Guest shall inspect and be familiar with proper use and application of such items prior to using them. Guest hereby agrees to indemnify and hold DFW and/or the owner of the property harmless from any and all claims including those of third parties, arising out of or in any way related to Guest’s use of the property or the items of personal property provided therein.

NO hunter can lease, sublet or substitute their access to the properties without DFW Huntings written permission. Anyone that does  could be removed without refund and not allowed to hunt with DFW Hunting in the future.

Hunters are allowed one youth (under 12) guest per hunt

These rules have been implemented to ensure equal treatment and rights for ALL members and guests of DFW Hunting & Outdoor Events to create a quality atmosphere and to foster a general atmosphere of respect for the guests, members and landowners. All members and guest will be expected to follow these rules at all times and report any infractions to the DFW Hunting & Outdoor Events staff as soon as possible.

Failure to adhere to these rules are grounds for a fine and or immediate termination of hunt & / or membership and removal from the ranch with no refund of fees.

If the person or persons doesn't leave voluntarily then TPWD Game Warden & / or the County Sheriffs Department will be contacted immediately.

DFW Hunting & Outdoor Events is a ZERO tolerance operation and expects all guests to use common sense and to treat the lease like it was their own property.

                                                          Release of Liability & Acknowledgment & Acceptance

DFW Hunting & Outdoors is a management group that manages properties for land owners in North Texas. By signing this agreement, the hunter is saying, that I do hereby acknowledge that I have knowingly and willingly entered an Agreement, or become a party bound by the terms and conditions of an Agreement by and between the undersigned,et al. (hunter, hereinafter the Lessee, whether one or more) and DFW Hunting a division of Moore Agribusiness LLC , et al. (hereinafter the Lessor, whether one or more) dated below  I further acknowledge and understand that no warranty, either express or implied, is made by the Lessor as to the condition of the hunting leases in Parker or Wise Counties in Texas, or any roads, buildings, gates or other improvements located thereon. This document serves to warn me that dangerous conditions, risks and hazards do exist. My presence and activities on the leased premises expose both me and my property to dangerous conditions, risks and hazards, including but not limited to snakes, insects, blinds and  stands, whether or not erected by Lessor; erosion and general condition of the land, both on and off roadways, creating rough, hazardous and dangerous driving and walking conditions; animals that may be diseased and/or potentially dangerous; deep water; persons with firearms both on or off the leased premises; and the use of any vehicle.In consideration for the right to enter the leased premises, I hereby release and agree to protect, indemnify and hold harmless the Lessor and his or her respective heirs, agents, employees and assigns from and against any and all claims, demands, causes of action and damages, including attorneys’ fees, resulting from any accident, incident or occurrence arising out of, incidental to or in any way resulting from the use of the leased premises and all improvements thereon, whether or not caused by the Lessor’s negligence or gross negligence. This release applies during the time that I am permitted on the leased premises. As used in this release, I include minors in my care while on the leased premises. I hereby further covenant and agree that I, my heirs, successors and assigns will not make any claim or institute any suit or action at law or in equity against the Lessor or his or her respective heirs, agents, representatives, employees, successors or assigns by reason of conditions of the leased premises or activities occurring thereon. The undersigned further agrees to indemnify and hold the released party harmless from any and all claims, demands, liabilities, losses, causes of action and expenses including any court costs and attorney fees arising from the undersigned’s use of the property. The undersigned has read and understands the payment and requirement portion of the dfwhunting.com official web site and acknowledges that all equipment in their designated hunting areas are working properly. The undersigned expects no guarantee that animals will be harvested while hunting on said property. If any damages are found including wounded or dead livestock, damaged trees, or items missing during or after Lessees departure then Lessee may encounter additional charges to compensate for these losses and damages. It is understood that the Lessee will be in breech of this agreement in the event that the Lessee fails to follow those rules and terms as set forth in the agreement, attachment or dfwhunting web site... I further agree there will be no tampering with any equipment on the property including feeders, cameras, implements, etc. I understand I will stay within the boundaries of the ranch. I further agree there are no alcoholic beverages prior to or during hunts and no illegal  substances at any time. NO OPEN FIRES ARE PERMITTED.As the Lessee, I understand that failing to do so may void this agreement, and the agreement may then be cancelled and hunters removed from the property at the sole discretion of the Lessor. In that unlikely event, I further agree to forfeit any and all present and future claims to the leased premises in regards to the remaining term of the original agreement. This agreement also prohibits a hunter or their family, friends or acquaintances from taking any action that negatively impacts DFW Hunting’s business including standard and social media. In that unlikely event, I further agree to reimburse dfwhunting for lost income due to these accusations. I hereby understand and agree to this agreement as set forth. I further agree to abide by all state game laws as set forth by the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department. In addition to state game laws, Lessee agrees to abide by all local, state, and federal laws while on the premises.
